In a voice reminiscent of Ted Kennedy, Kit says, “The Laker Girls cheerleading squad — needs to be taken down a peg or two.” Kit pauses, and tears up a bit.

Later, Daisy and Slater are walking toward Bowfinger International Pictures.

“You know last night was really special,” says Slater.

“It was,” agrees Daisy. “I’ve never done it lying down before.”

“Hmmm,” says Slater. “You know next time?”

“Yeah?” says Daisy.

“Next time I think I’d like to do it with just two condoms,” says Slater.

“Well, if I was in the movie more, yeah,” says Daisy. “You see, if I was in the movie more, then we could be equals, and I could trust you more.”

“We have lots of scenes together,” says Slater. “I love our scenes.”

“Our scenes are the best,” agrees Daisy. “But I should have more scenes with Kit. If I had more scenes with Kit, then that would really pump up our scenes!”

“You know, Afrim would be in charge of that,” says Slater. “He’s the screenWRITER.”

“So the writer’s in charge of that?” asks Daisy.

“Yeah,” says Slater.

“Huh!” says Daisy, pondering this information.
