Back at Bowfinger International, Bobby is counting is few remaining dollar bills.\u00a0 Dave walks in.<\/p>\n
“Can’t find Kit,” says Dave.<\/p>\n
“What do you mean you can’t find Kit?” asks Bowfinger. “He’s one of the most famous faces in the world. You can find him.” Dave shakes his head.<\/p>\n
“You can find…you can find him,” repeats Bowfinger.<\/p>\n
“No, we can’t find him,” says Dave. “We staked out his house, MindHead, everywhere. He’s vanished, gone.”<\/p>\n
“Where is the guy?” asks Bowfinger. “We can’t shoot our movie without our star.” He stands up, frustrated. “Actors have no work ethic these days.”<\/p>\n
“They keep his movements secret,” explains Dave. “That cult thing? They control him.”<\/p>\n
“Okay, okay,” says Bowfinger. “There must be a lot of guys who look like Kit. We’ll round up look-alikes
\njust for the long shots. We’ll shoot ’em from behind and not show his face.”<\/p>\n
As Dave turns to leave, Bowfinger says, “And look: Kit has shown his ass in eight of his last ten films, and eight of his last ten films have been hits, so we need a guy with a fabulous ass, — and mine is the wrong color.”<\/p>\n
