The movie begins with the “Chubby Rain” title and Bowfinger’s narration, “C.I.A. operative, Todd Delmonico, drove his ’53 Buick to meet Keith Kincaid.”<\/p>\n
Producer Jerry Renfro is puzzled when he sees his car on-screen.<\/p>\n
“Kincaid!” yells Slater’s character in the movie.<\/p>\n
“It had rained that day,” continues Bowfinger’s narration. “But was it normal rain? Or was it Chubby Rain?”<\/p>\n
Carol watches herself acting on the big screen.<\/p>\n
“Freddy!” yells Kit, on-screen.<\/p>\n
“You heard me there, Kincaid,” says Slater on-screen.<\/p>\n
“Hey, Freddy?” Kit calls out again on screen.<\/p>\n
“Freddy’s about to have his guts replaced with alien hardware!” says Slater. Slater smiles in his seat.<\/p>\n
