“…ten percent of the nut,” continues Bowfinger. “Cash? Every movie costs $2,184.00.”
Across from a “Hollywood Celebrities Tour” stand” a Greyhound bus pulls up in front of a bus station. Passengers disembark.
One of the passengers, a smiling girl named Daisy asks no one in particular, “Where do I go to be an actress?”
Later Daisy sits, dejected, on her luggage. The HOLLYWOOD Sign is in the distance.
Time passes, and Daisy walks down the street where Bowfinger International Pictures is located. A painted sign offering auditions for “Chubby Rain – $25” is set up on the sidewalk.
Inside Bowfinger International, Slater and a young woman are kissing on a makeshift stage. Afrim and Bowfinger watch.
