Bowfinger and his crew carries the many cans of film out of the camera shop. “Mambo U.K.” plays on the soundtrack.
Back at Bowfinger International Pictures, the crew sets up for the next scene.
BOWFINGER: Alright, people, we’re almost ready! Dave, what do you think, we should light the fireplace?
DAVE: Uh-huh.
BOWFINGER: This mark – this is a good mark?
Bowfinger stands on a tape mark. One of the grips lights the fireplace, which sends out an enormous belch of flame.
Daisy enters through the front door. Afrim goes to greet her.
AFRIM: Ah, Daisy! My sweetness!
Bowfinger steps in-between Afrim and Daisy.
BOWFINGER: Hi! How are you?
Daisy kisses Bowfinger, then briefly says “hi” to Afrim. Afrim realizes his relationship with Daisy is over, and turns away, sullen.
BOWFINGER: Are you okay? Do you want to relax a little bit first? Do you want to shoot?
DAISY: Shoot.
BOWFINGER: You want to shoot? Such a good work ethic! I so admire that.
Bowfinger leads Daisy to the set.
BOWFINGER: Now, here’s your mark. I think the mark’s a little small. Are you okay there? Alright, yeah.
Another grip points Bowfinger toward Jif. Bowfinger talks to Jif.
BOWFINGER: We have a very important scene here. This is one of the “hot” scenes, that is about “heat” and – and – and…
Daisy mouths the word “chemistry.”
BOWFINGER: “chemistry.”
JIF: Oh. It’s supposed to be artistic?
