“It’s science fiction, which we know sells…” says Bowfinger.
“You shut up. You shut up!” says Kit Ramsey. “Let me tell you something. I’m gettin’ ready to whip your ass. Let me tell you something. You don’t be readin’ my stuff, all right? Now get off the property!”
“I just got a little excited,” says Bowfinger, noticing the MindHead license plate on the car. “It’s okay. I gotta get over to my MindHead meeting anyway.”
“MindHead?” asks Ramsey.
“MindHead?” asks Bowfinger, pointing at Ramsey.
“MindHead! You need a lift?” asks Ramsey.
“MindHead. I can’t believe that!” laughs Bowfinger.
“Yeah! Come on in,” Ramsey gets in the limo and waves Bowfinger in with him.
“Oh, yeah. Thank you very much,” says Bowfinger, closing the door. They drive down the road to the front gate.
“What a coincidence!” says Ramsey.
“Who’s your guy?” asks Bowfinger.
“Terry Stricter,” says Ramsey. “Who’s yours?”
“Ray,” says Bowfinger.
“Ray?” says Ramsey. “Oh, Ray!” They drive halfway down the street, when suddenly Bowfinger is tossed out of the car.
“You know, it’s people like you that give MindHead a bad name!” yells Ramsey, slamming the car door. “You lyin’ sack of sh*t!” The car drives away.
“Read the script!” yells Bowfinger. “I’m really a big-time producer with clout!”
The script flies out of the car window into the street.
