The scene shifts to a large, futuristic campus. This is the headquarters of MindHead.
People wearing paper hats walk around the campus.
A large photomural of people, with a giant close-up of Director Terry Stricter and the word “MindHead” decorates a wall. Kit’s assistant, Freddy, and a MindHead representative stand guard in front of metal office doors.
A hollow voice on the PA repeats:
“Welcome to MindHead.”
“Welcome to MindHead.”
“Welcome to MindHead.”
“Welcome to MindHead.”
“Welcome to MindHead. Welcome…”
In the office, Terry Stricter talks to Kit Ramsey.
“Seems as though you’re doing much better,” says Terry.
“Yes. Yes!” agrees Kit, excitedly.
“Your paranoia – is definitely under control,” says Terry, “since you came to understand… Happy Premise Number One.”
“Happy Premise Number One,” says Kit. “There are no aliens.”
“Happy Premise Number Two?” continues Terry.
“Happy Premise Number Two,” says Kit. “There is no giant foot trying to squash me.”
“Happy Premise Number Three…” says Terry.
“Happy Premise Number Three,” says Kit. “Even though I feel like I might ignite, I probably won’t.”
“So, what do we do?” asks Terry.
