“Keith!” Daisy continues to yell after Kit Ramsey’s limo.

In the limo, Kit talks to the driver. “Keith. Your name Keith?”

“No, I’m Jimmy,” says the driver. “But thanks for askin’!”

“And… cut!” says Bowfinger, back at Kit’s front gate. “We got our first shot!” The crew yells and applauds.

Back at Bowfinger International Pictures, Dave and Bowfinger hunker over a movieola. “Okay, here it comes,” says Bowfinger. “Come on. Work, baby, work!”

On the editing screen, Kit’s limo pulls out of the gate. The camera pans left, then returns right to show Daisy running out of the gate. “Keith, you forgot your briefcase!” yells Daisy. “Keith, you forgot… You’re upset! One slipup in your tough, crime-filled world and you could die!”

Bowfinger is shocked at how well the scene played on screen. Dave smiles.

“Oh my God, it worked!” says Bowfinger. “It looked like Daisy was coming out of the house. This movie’s gonna work!”

Later, at Stage 24 of a studio, Dave is walking across the studio lot.
