“We’re screwed,” says Bowfinger, outside Rae’s Diner. “We luck into the biggest thing of our life, the brother of the world’s hottest movie star, and it turns out I have a conscience.”
“Don’t be so hard on yourself,” says Dave.
“Did you hear him? He’s an innocent,” says Bowfinger. “He told us how much he loved us. I just can’t do it.”
“I gotta take the camera back,” says Dave. “You’ll work it out.”
“I can’t do it,” says Bowfinger, shaking his head.
Back at the office, the Mexican film crew are discussing movies.
“A mi me gusta el Citizen Kane!” says one. “Muy buena película.”
“Muy Buena,” says another crew member. “Apocalypse Now. The Godfather. Dr. Strangelove.”
“Stanley Kubrick!” says the third. “A Clockwork Orange.”
“Mr. Bowfinger,” says Jiff, entering the office. “Mr. Bowfinger, I got something to tell you. I have something to tell you!”
“Come over here,” says Bowfinger.
“Can I talk first?” asks Jiff.
“All right, all right,” says Bowfinger.
“I wanna tell you something,” says Jiff. “Being Kit Ramsey’s brother, sometimes it has its
fringe benefits sometimes!”
“How do you mean?” asks Bowfinger, puzzled.
“You’ll never guess who I had intercourse with in the van!” says Jiff, grinning.
Daisy enters the office, straightening out her sundress.
