Bowfinger leaves the studio. His crew react with combinations of hopefulness and skepticism.

Bowfinger drives to a suit store in a beat-up blue van.

Bowfinger is in a suit store, looking at nice suits while wearing a loud plaid jacket. The camera pans away to salesmen who are not watching him. The camera pans back, and he’s now wearing the nice suit jacket and putting the loud jacket on the rack.

Bowfinger drives down Lankershim to Universal Studios. A large banner advertising a Kit Ramsey movie hangs from the wall of a soundstage. Dave, Bowfinger’s go-fer, pulls out of the studio in a convertible Mercedes.

Dave meets Bowfinger in a covered parking lot.

“Good job, Dave,” says Bowfinger. “Great work.”

“You’ve got to have this back in 45 minutes,” says Dave.
