Bowfinger’s crew is looking at Bowfinger, who is sitting in his office chair, looking at the dog.

“Well?” asks Carol.

“What did he say?” asks Slater.

“Betsy, come here,” says Bowfinger, to the dog. He ignores the crew. “Come here. Come here. Sit! Come. Sit! Good girl! Come here, come here. What a good girl!”

Bowfinger turns to the crew. “Is she amazing? Considering you get her from the pound…”

“What did he say?” repeats Slater.

“All right,” says Bowfinger. “Okay. So, all right. So, I’m at the meeting with Jerry Renfro, and it’s going very well. But, I’m looking at him and I’m thinking, you know, I don’t need him. What I need is someone like a Kit Ramsey. Kit Ramsey makes this a Go Picture. So, I went to see Kit at his home.”

“Oh, my God,” says Slater.

“And what did he say?” asks Carol.

“What did who say?” asks Bowfinger

“What did Kit Ramsey say?” yells Carol.

“What did Kit Ramsey say?” says Bowfinger. “Okay. So, I’m meeting with Kit -“
