Bowfinger gets out his money box. There’s only a few dollars left.
The doorbell rings. Bowfinger tosses the box on top of his Murphy bed and shuts the closet door.
The doorbell rings again. “I’ll be right there!” he yells.
Bowfinger gets a funnel out of a kitchen drawer and fills a wine bottle with a cheap chianti, then adds tap water to the bottle. He recorks the diluted wine, turns on the radio, and heads for the living room.
Bowfinger empties a can of mixed nuts into a dish, then tosses the nut can behind the couch. Betsy the dog is laying upside down on the couch. Bowfinger tries to figure out something to do with her, and then decides to try and tie her legs together.
