Minute 083: It Could Have Worked

“It could’ve worked,” said Bowfinger, looking at his cast.

Sanchez walks in with reels. “Boss, what you want me to do with this stuff?” he asks.

“What is it?” asks Bowfinger.

“It’s the film,” replies Sanchez.

“I told him to follow Kit around and get some random shots,” says Dave. “We never know. We could’ve used it.”

“The trash is outside,” says Bowfinger.

“I wanna take a look at it,” says Dave.

“Why hurt ourselves?” says Bowfinger. “We need Kit Ramsey’s permission, remember? Why didn’t someone bring that up to me at some point?”

Sanchez loads the film into a movieola. The cast gather around to watch.

“Hold up, hold up, hold up. Serve,” says Kit on the screen, playing tennis.

“Useless,” says Bowfinger. “A tennis-playing alien fighter. Nice work, guys.”

Kit is at a Lakers game, glaring at the cheerleaders.

“Thank you, Mr. Bowfinger,” says Sanchez. “We used a Pro-Mist, and tried to open up the aperture so we can give him a rim light.”
